Finding Your Values. To Live The Life You Want.

I had a client whose two main values in life were Comfort and Safety. He reviewed them with me after gaining a lot of weight, being tired and run down all the time. He was not happy and wanted a change. In reviewing his values he realized these values were giving him permission to eat what ever comfort food he wanted and to take little risks in his life. He was on survival mode. This was his comfort and safety for years. After reexamining his values he realized he was uncomfortable and wanted to live more fully. He changed his two top values to 1. uncomfortable – in a healthy way. He was already uncomfortable in his body but not in a good way. He started eating right and exercising. This made him uncomfortable but it gave him more of the energy and vitality he was looking for. The second value he embraced was 2. confidence. He allowed himself to embrace the talents he has and own them. He felt more confident to speak and live his truth in the world. He started this earlier this year and has lost 30 lbs and feels better about being himself in the world.

I encourage you to look through this list of 100 values and find the top 3 values you want to focus on and live them. Let me know how it goes.

With kind regards,

Stuart
